Hi, I'm Robbie. I turn messy digital ideas into polished websites, ecommerce builds, and tools people can actually use.
New websites built around how your team actually works. WordPress, custom CMS setups, and flexible page systems you can update without calling a developer every time.
Shopify and WooCommerce stores with thoughtful product pages, dependable integrations, and accurate product information that helps customers understand what they are buying.
Technical improvements that make an existing site faster, easier to find, and less frustrating to use. Includes audits, fixes, and help deciding what is actually worth addressing.
For sites that are outdated, unreliable, or held together by fixes nobody wants to touch. I can diagnose the problem, stabilize things, and make future changes less painful.
I connect websites, APIs, CRMs, and other systems that were not designed to work together, then make the result understandable for the people who use it.
Keep what still works. Replace what does not. I rebuild aging sites without casually throwing away useful content, search visibility, or the parts your team already understands.
I'm a technical leader and web developer based in Toronto. I help teams turn complex briefs into websites, tools, and platforms that are clear to use, reliable in production, and easy to maintain after launch.
My day job is Director of Technology at Idea Rebel, where I lead technical planning and delivery for clients including Kubota Canada and 7-Eleven Canada. The work spans headless WordPress, Next.js configurators, CRM-integrated portals, technical discovery, and the planning sessions that keep teams aligned before development starts.
I've also taken on freelance work as Robbie BK since 2013, building sites for small and mid-sized businesses, charities, and independent brands. My best work sits between design, development, and operations: taking a real business need, shaping it into a practical technical plan, and building something the client can actually run.
I have a Bachelor of Computing from Queen's University with a focus in AI. If you're planning a new build, a platform migration, or need a second opinion on a site that is already in motion let's have a conversation.
Tell me what you are trying to build, fix, or untangle. A useful first note usually includes the current site, the rough timeline, and what you wish worked better.
